I’m a Visiting Assistant Professor of Philosophy at Oberlin College. In 2024-25, I’ll be teaching Ethics, Applied Ethics, Bioethics, and Philosophy and Morality.
My research in practical epistemology explores the value of knowledge, the epistemic norms of practical deliberation, and the relationship between what to think and what to do. I’m particularly interested in legal epistemology and the use of evidence in the courtroom.
Previously, I’ve been a Visiting Assistant Professor of Philosophy at Bates College, Postdoctoral Associate at MIT, and a Visiting Fellow at the Australian National University.
My PhD in philosophy is from MIT. My BA in mathematics and philosophy is from UMass Amherst.
Outside of philosophy, I enjoy playing cello and spending time in nature.
